Valerie Cole discovered her love for storytelling as an intern in MTV’s animation department. A graduate of Drexel University, she holds a BS in communications and currently works in advertising.

Valerie writes contemporary young adult books that have, what her agent Lauren MacLeod, calls “humor and that Valerie Cole weirdness special sauce.”

Born and raised in Baltimore, Valerie is a recent Nashville transplant by way of Philadelphia. She’s navigating the south one weird roadside attraction at a time.
